May is marvelous and full of activity for the littles in this family!
We dance, we ride in parades, field trip, playdate and we win championships in baseball!
Sometimes we twirl and dip with dad and leave our memories to the blurry pictures taken by a very amateur photographer.
Sometimes we ride the rides at the Mesquite Carnival in our dance clothes, we are also oblivious to the fact that the men running the rides are very sketchy and could probably kill us in a dark ally.
We never question that our float in the Mesquite Days Parade is not up to "Macy Day" standards. We only know that our flatbed trailer is good enough for us local folk.
While other kids in the big cities take field trip to museums and cultural events we think our walking tour of Bunkerville and subsequent visit to the post office is out of this world.
Sometimes we just play "beach towel" with Christmas Tree sunglasses. Life is a beach when you have your good friends with you.
We dress up for absolutely no reason but we make sure to document it for the world to see.
And last but not least we act humble when we take 1st place and realize that this time in our lives is exactly what small town living is all about. These are the nights that create memories to last a lifetime. The crack of the bat and the sound of an umpire's yell are music to our ears and we don't even question that mom has fed us hotdogs twice a week for the last month and a half.
What's that you say?
Oh ya, life is really great, isn't it?
