well not all of Easter........
The spiritual aspect of Easter is amazing in it's entirety and one of my favorite days of the year. I love hearing testimonies of the Saviors atonement and I love the opportunity to reflect with my children as we study the life stories of Jesus.
But,
Easter is disturbing....
Braden asked me why a bunny and not a chicken brings the eggs and then the boys told Layla that the bunny poops out the eggs. (Isn't lovely that of of all the messages of Easter she could share this is the one she remembers and did share with everyone?).
Ali and the kids came for Easter and we did our finest egg coloring yet.
Jake informed the Easter bunny that we needed him to come on Saturday and the Easter bunny answered back in his best "rot your teeth out kinda of way" jellybeans!
(Jake when you misspell words you have been spelling for years, you should not get jelly beans wink wink)!!
Miss Layla
Mr. B
Jakester
Those silly eggs!
Off to Enterprise for some egg throwing, 4wheeling, softball playing, sugar rushing good times!
This year Miss Layla was an egg machine she kept up with the big kids and did not do too shabby on the pinata either!
Ali and the boys headed home and we stayed and played with more cousins at Grandma's house.
Lesson Learned,
BMan if you climb it you must be able to climb down as well.
Don't mind that I am telling the most incredibly stupid story in the background (who knew I could be so animated) but the girls are adorable. Miss Layla we will work on your feminine ways (hitting yourself in the head - not really dancing).
Love Easter Weekend!
