Well this is an interesting story and I can't share very many details (respecting somebody's privacy) so I will share what I can!
The person Rand knows is a farmer and his wife is such a cute lady! They have darling children and a lovely little life. Well.......one day the farmer set out to become a pilot and he intended to become a good pilot. Not only did he use those skills to crop dust the fields of the local farmers but he learned to fly jets. (This comes in handy a little later). This little farmer came in contact with a wealthy women who also owned a farm and so she hired this little farmer to fly to another state and take care of her farm. In order to do this in a timely manner and spend quality time with his family she secured him the use of a Leer Jet. Of course, what else would get him from state to state quickly? This was not her personal Leer Jet (she had one of her own of course), this one was kinda of like a "work leer jet".
To cut to the chase and sadly leave the very long and interesting story out.............we got to see the Leer Jet among other things and hang out at the airport with the darling little farmer's family!

Jake on the other hand realized the significance of the fortuitous event and climbed right into the driver's seat with his wing man by his side!
Braden who absolutely loves planes was even more taken by the farmer's sons bike and spent the entire time weaving in and out of parked airplanes. We barley could pull him away to snap this picture before he jumped on the bike again! I fear this is because we live on a hill at home and flat ground makes for some good bike riding!
